He’s been with us since April, and in that time we’ve watched him make slow, steady progress after coming from a home where he wasn’t treated kindly. He’s a survivor with a tender heart, and he deserves a family who will give him the patience, safety, and love he never had. Prince is shy and easily startled, so he’ll need a quiet, predictable home with someone who’s home often and willing to move at his pace. Loud noises overwhelm him, and he's especially afraid of lawnmowers, so a fenced-in yard is a must for his comfort and security. But here’s the beautiful part: once Prince feels safe with you, he bonds deeply. He becomes the kind of dog who follows you everywhere, gentle and loyal, as if he’s finally found his person.
