Maude is a fabulous little pup with a warm, easy-going personality. She weighs just over 40lbs and her compact, medium frame sits just below knee height. Maude gets along with everyone she meets—other dogs and children included—and is gentle and quiet around the house. She’s calm but loves to climb onto the couch for a cozy cuddle session. She’s had some interactions with cats: Maude respects them in their spaces, but she might chase if one ventures unexpectedly into her domain. Given her temperament, she’d probably do just fine with confident cats who already run the show. Maude is crate trained, though she might bark for a few minutes at first—something to consider in noise-sensitive living situations. She behaves well when left out of the crate, as long as tempting items like shoes and toys are put away. Maude is still perfecting her house training, mainly due to a UTI and a few abscesses currently being treated by the vet. Once she recovers, accidents should resolve.
