Benny
AvailableBenny is a male Labrador Retriever puppy currently in Newport, KY. As a young, medium-sized black Lab, he is crate trained and making progress with house training. Benny has already been neutered, and with his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he’s looking for a loving family ready to support his ongoing training and adjustment.
About Benny
Lab lovers, Benny checks a lot of boxes. Shy at first but quick to love, he’s a classic black Lab pup—goofy, affectionate, and always up for play with other dogs (especially if they don’t mind his rough-and-tumble teenage style). He’s crate trained and making real strides with house training. Early life wasn’t kind, so he needs patient adopters who understand slow, steady progress: trust and positive reinforcement will be your daily routine for a while. Benny’s still working through some tough leash and collar memories; a fenced yard is best as he learns harness walking. Ideally, his next people will be home a lot (at least for the first few months) to support his adjustment and let him bond. Right now, he’s better suited to families without very young kids—not because he doesn’t love them, but his current teething stage and playful intensity mean he could knock the littlest ones over. Give Benny time and commitment, and he’ll reward you with a loyal, joyful companion. Start your journey together! Apply now.
