About Max
Meet Max! This 4-year-old German Shepherd is settling into indoor life after years spent outside. He’s just getting the hang of house rules and is still working on potty training. Max sometimes gets tempted by kitchen counters and trash, but he’s fast to catch on and wants to do the right thing. He’s patient on car rides and was calm and polite at the vet. Max thrives around people and enjoys being included in whatever you’re doing. He’s friendly toward both humans and dogs, and gets a lot of joy out of daily walks. Keep in mind, Max is clever and may try to jump a fence to be closer to his people, so supervision and secure fencing are key to his safety. He’s a loyal, warm-hearted dog looking for a family to guide him the rest of the way as he transitions to full-time indoor living. Max is waiting for a home where he’s understood and cared for—if you’re ready to give him that, he’ll pay it back tenfold. Your new best friend is just one click away.
