About Coco

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Go coo-coo for Coco! Meet Coco, an irresistibly sweet boy with a heart as big as his adorable grin. He’s a 4-year-old, medium-sized Terrier mix who was rescued from Aculpulco and is now dreaming of his forever family in sunny San Diego. After a tough accident severed his tail, Coco is fully incontinent, but he rocks his doggy diapers in style and is a walking, running, playing miracle! Thanks to lots of TLC and physical therapy, he’s now up for a game of fetch or just being his delightfully goofy self. This lovable, gentle soul is truly a social butterfly—he thrives around other dogs and people, including children. While he hasn’t met any cats yet, Coco’s playful and affectionate spirit suggests he could be a great fit in many homes, especially with people who can give him the extra care he needs. He isn’t able to be house trained due to his injury, but his happy heart and loyal nature shine bright. Coco requires regular use of diapers and a specific veterinary diet (Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Adult Ultamino Dry Dog Food), but he promises that the love and gratitude he’ll show in return are worth every bit of effort. If you’re ready to share your home with a loving, friendly companion who’s overcome the odds, Coco is waiting to meet you! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
