Patty is a striking brindle Presa Canario in Norwood, GA with a true zest for life. She’s an outgoing, sturdy girl around 7–8 years old, described as confident, affectionate, and always happy to meet people. Patty’s past wasn’t easy—she landed in a shelter in Mississippi with little hope before landing safe with rescue. She is thriving in her foster home, loving car rides, pets, and long naps. Patty is crate-trained and is working on fine-tuning her housebreaking and leash skills. She already knows some basic obedience, and with consistent support, she’ll keep improving her manners. Patty gets along with calm, large male dogs but can be bossy around others and should be the only pet or with dogs matching her energy. She absolutely cannot live with cats, small dogs, or other little animals due to a high prey drive. Patty would do best in a home with older kids (10+) who have experience with large dogs and can be calm around her. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, and though she is heartworm positive, she’s already started treatment and comes with everything needed for her recovery.
