Absolutely no small dogs! PERSONALITY: Medium energy, friendly, affectionate, independent, submissive, playful, happy, loves affection and is very treat motivated PREFERENCES: Hanging with her people, snoozing, long walks, and extended periods of play TRAINING: Housebroken and crate trained. Working on leash training (almost has it) and basic obedience. SPECIAL NEEDS: She is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. All meds needed to complete the treatment will be sent with her. Katana was physically and emotionally abused before coming into rescue. She was emaciated and severely underweight at intake, but is now happy, healthy, and weighs 108 lbs. She needs a stable family that will reassure her and give her structure. It has taken months to get her where she does not cower and trusts that no one is going to hurt her ever again. VETTING: Fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped.
