Birdie is a two-year-old female Presa Canario with a puppy’s energy and a huge, affectionate heart. She is quick to bond with her people, loving nothing more than play sessions, a good run, or stretching out alongside you after wearing herself out. New things and strangers make her a bit shy at first, but her curiosity helps her warm up with a gentle introduction. Birdie is housebroken and knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and she’s working her way through leash and crate training—a playpen or gated room works well for her right now. She’s fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, and she’s healthy, sitting at heartworm negative. If you have children, Birdie’s best placed in homes where kids are over 12 and already know their way around big dogs. She might enjoy a laid-back male dog over 60 pounds, with slow meets to make sure everyone gets along. Adopters should expect to continue her training and help her build confidence in new environments. Birdie is currently in Norwood, GA.
