About Roscoe
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Sweet, goofy, and truly lovable, Roscoe P. Coltrane is an exceptionally good boy who is searching for his forever home. This large Black Labrador Retriever/Border Collie mix is a superstar house dog—well behaved both inside and out, and overflowing with affection. Despite a turbulent past following the loss of his previous owner, Roscoe has held onto his good-natured spirit. Roscoe has overcome heartbreak and mistreatment, and he’s still one of the most kind and affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. He does have knee issues resulting from an ACL surgery that never fully took, mostly because he cannot resist jumping even when he’s meant to be resting. Roscoe’s history makes him especially ready for a home that can offer the love and companionship he once knew. Don’t overlook this sweet gem of a dog—he’s ready for someone to give him a second chance at happiness. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
