About Simba

Simba is an affectionate girl who was surrendered when her previous owner felt unable to give her the attention she deserves. She's a favorite at the shelter and is eagerly waiting for someone to take her home. With a perpetual grin, Simba loves being around people and craves petting and attention. She enjoys running around the yard, chasing toys, and sometimes even brings them back! At 77 pounds, she has big dreams of being a lap dog, but she’s a bit too large for that. Simba is enthusiastic about walks and approaches them with the same zest she brings to everything in her life. Having lived with children, Simba is crate trained and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She's also house trained. This delightful companion would fit perfectly into a family looking for a larger playmate. She promises hours of fun and adventure. The shelter operates by appointment only, so we ask interested adopters to fill out the application prior to scheduling a meeting. The staff is very accommodating, eager to answer any questions you might have. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
