About Sandy
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Sandy and his brother Don were discovered in the hills as strays when they were just about three months old. A kindhearted man gave them a home and raised them until they were eight months old, when life circumstances sadly forced him to find them a new home. Arriving at the sanctuary, Sandy was wary and timid, as everything is new to him, but he's made amazing progress with time, quickly warming up to staff members. Sandy is now learning to walk on a leash, and once he feels secure, he becomes extremely affectionate—a true big lap dog! Both Sandy and his brother are highly food motivated and eat together with no signs of food or resource guarding. Sandy will even give up his bowl or anything his brother wants without any hesitation, showing just how gentle and loving he is. Sandy is looking for a calm, patient person who can introduce him to a world beyond the hills, offering him plenty of love and reassurance. He is sure to become a loyal and devoted companion. The staff absolutely adores him and his brother, and can't wait to see them find the perfect home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
