About Odie
Odie comes with a big heart and a lot of sweetness, but he needs someone willing to put in the work. Nervous at first, he takes time to settle in and needs patience and reassurance as he adjusts. He tends to bark or growl when encountering new dogs but often shows his playful side soon after with a wagging tail and a play bow. Odieās past as a stray makes him a bit wary at first, yet he quickly blossoms with positive reinforcement and exposure to friendly dogs. Itās best for him to live in a rural settingābusy city life would overwhelm him. Importantly, Odie has a strong prey drive and absolutely cannot be around small animals. He has the makings of a great companion for someone whoās dedicated, patient, and ready to give him structure and slow introductions to new things. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
