About Jabulani
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Jabulani, lovingly called Jabu, is a sweet Akita girl eager to nuzzle her way into your heart! She thrives on human companionship and welcomes everyone with her signature curly tail wags and plenty of slobbery kisses. Jabu loves to show off her energetic spins, funny vocalizations, and enjoys earning gold medals in tug-of-war and playing with her favorite squeaky toys. She's an active dog, always ready for long walks, games of fetch in the yard, and food puzzles, as well as training sessions with positive reinforcement. Petite and beautiful at 62 pounds and 11 years, Jabu prefers to be the center of attention as the only dog in the home. She would do best in a home without young children, as she appreciates her own space, especially after meals. Jabu truly adores her people and can be a bit vocal when left alone, but with some support and patience, her mild separation anxiety can be managed. She is bright, bouncy, and loves exploring the beach with her humans, dipping her paws into the ocean, and experiencing every adventure together. Jabu joined rescue after the loss of her previous guardian. She’s looking for a loving home to spend her golden years, where she can give all her affection to one special person or family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
