About Jabulani
Jabulani—or Jabu, as she's known by those who love her—has a flair for affectionate chaos and a genuine love for her people. She greets just about everyone with a wiggly, curly tail and an eager barrage of slobbery kisses, making it very clear she's a social dog at heart. Jabu’s spirited spins and quirky vocal sounds deliver endless entertainment, and she never misses a chance to impress with her athletic tug-of-war skills and a deep passion for squeaky toys. This active, medium-coated Akita is happiest with daily walks, games of fetch, and exercising her brain with food puzzles or positive reinforcement training. At 62 pounds—small for her breed—and around 11 years old, Jabu is still energetic but appreciates an easygoing routine. She prefers being the only dog in the house and isn't a fit for homes with cats, small animals, or young children. After losing her guardian, she’s adjusting to new circumstances and sometimes fusses when left alone, so a patient adopter willing to support her mild separation anxiety is ideal. If you want loyal company, a steady walking partner, and a playful spirit in your life, Jabu covers it all. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
