All dogs at this rescue, including Triscuit, are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and given preventative care appropriate to their age. You can rest assured that the health and wellness of each pet is a top priority—they are dewormed and receive both flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. The adoption process prioritizes a thoughtful match, requiring a home visit and a vet reference before finalizing. If you're interested in Triscuit, you'll start by filling out a simple application, and you can select up to three pets to meet. After your application is reviewed and your references checked, you'll be contacted (weekdays only) to set up an appointment for a meet and greet. If all goes well, a final vetting is scheduled to ensure every dog leaves the rescue happy and healthy. For those who live in rental properties, or who've had pets in the last two years, be sure to provide the necessary documentation—it's a quick way to help move the process along. If it's your first pet, a personal reference will be needed. Adoption fee is $100, and the rescue center is located in Brundidge, AL. Please remember, same-day adoptions are not offered, and appointments are required for all visits.
