When you adopt from this rescue, you can be confident that your new companion will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, heartworm negative (if age appropriate), and microchipped. All dogs also receive monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and are regularly dewormed to ensure their ongoing health. Please note, the rescue’s adoption process includes an application and a review of veterinary or personal references, as well as a virtual home visit. This helps ensure that every pet finds the perfect home and that all parties are set up for success. If you live in a rental property, have your lease available, and be ready to provide references as needed. After your application is reviewed, you may schedule a meet-and-greet appointment, and, once approved, your chosen pet will receive a final veterinary check before heading home. While the adoption fee is $100, the quality of care and consideration for each animal is priceless.
