About Judy

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Judy is now searching for her forever family at Troy Animal Rescue Project. All dogs adopted from this rescue are up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, heartworm negative (if age appropriate), and microchipped for their safety. Monthly flea and tick prevention, as well as heartworm prevention and regular deworming, are part of the comprehensive care these dogs receive. Judy will be adopted through a process that puts her health and well-being first, including a thorough vet reference check and a virtual home visit. You can select up to three pets to meet in person by appointment, once your application is reviewed. If you are interested in bringing this sweet companion home, just remember same-day adoptions are not possible—this helps make sure each placement is a great fit. In case you live in a rental home, make sure your lease allows pets and have it ready for review. Past pet owners should provide their previous vet’s contact info, while those new to pet care can offer a personal reference. After all steps are finished, you’ll be able to meet Judy and the other adoptable dogs—and if you choose Judy, a final quick vet check will be scheduled before she goes to her new home. All meetings are by appointment at the Brundidge, AL rescue center. As a fun fact, Judy’s birthday is August 14, making her a lively and affectionate Leo—a star sign known for big hearts and playful personalities. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
