About Goose

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Goose, a wonderful Labrador Retriever available for adoption through Troy Animal Rescue Project. All dogs adopted from this rescue are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative if age appropriate. Regular flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives are provided, and the dog is also dewormed routinely. Each dog comes microchipped for added safety. The adoption fee is $100, and both a home visit and veterinary reference are required. Please note that same day adoptions are not offered. The process includes selecting up to three pets to meet, submitting an application, and completing a virtual home visit and reference check. After these steps, an appointment can be scheduled for your meet and greet, which may take place during the week or on weekends, subject to availability. If you’re in a rental, be sure to have your lease stating pet allowance on hand. Vet and personal references help speed up the process, which aims to ensure all pets are matched with caring families. Once the meet and greet is finished and final vetting is complete, you’ll be able to welcome Goose into your home. Fun fact: With a date of birth of August 7, Goose is a proud Leo β€” known for being social, loyal, and full of heart! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
