His adoption will include being fully up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed/neutered, ensuring he is healthy and ready to join your family. Every dog receives regular flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, plus routine deworming. Blackjack will be heartworm negative before adoption. To adopt, a home visit and vet reference are required, and the adoption fee is $100. Please note: Troy Animal Rescue Project does not conduct same-day adoptions. Interested adopters must apply online and provide essential documents such as a copy of a pet-friendly lease for renters or appropriate references. After your application is reviewed, you'll have the opportunity to meet up to three pets by appointment. Once approved, a final vet check ensures all pets are healthy before they head home. The rescue is located in Brundidge, AL, and visits are by appointment only. As a fun fact, being born on January 7 makes Blackjack a Capricorn, a sign known for its loyal and determined nature!
