About Janet

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Janet, a beautiful large American Bulldog/Coonhound mix whose adoption fee has been completely sponsored by a generous donor! Janet’s foster family can't stop raving about her loving and easygoing nature. She adores spending time with her humans, always eager to cuddle and sleep right by your side. Janet is used to having the run of the house during the day and demonstrates excellent house manners—she simply snoozes or occupies herself with her toys while you’re away. Daily walks are one of Janet’s favorite activities, and while she’s strong and still learning about leash manners, she’s already made great progress with the family who’s cared for her. She would enjoy a fenced yard for the extra freedom to sniff and explore, though it's not required. Janet thrives on affection and will quickly capture your heart with her loyalty and playful spirit. Janet is heartworm positive but has completed her treatment. She’ll need a follow-up test in July and continued monthly preventatives, a responsibility her adopter will need to maintain. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Born June 10th, Janet is a Gemini—known for being adaptable and outgoing, just like her! If you’re looking for a companion who is dog- and child-friendly but would prefer a home without cats, Janet is ready to steal the show. Let her brighten your life with joy and devotion! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
