About Frodo
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Frodo (also known as Fitzgerald), a one-year-old, lively pup with an infectious enthusiasm for life! Listed as a Great Dane Mix, he is friendly with everyone he meets and shines with a bright, energetic spirit. Frodo is kennel trained and loves mealtime, which makes him a joy to teach new tricks to. He thrives in a home where his humans have an active schedule that lets him be a part of their adventures—think hiking, day trips, and exploring the outdoors. A fenced yard or consistent new activities help channel his youthful energy in positive ways. Frodo will benefit from consistent leadership, as he sometimes needs guidance to refocus when excitement takes over. Because he's still mastering coordination, a household with older children who are interested in helping with his training would be a great match; little ones may be a bit overwhelming as he’s still growing into his big paws. Consistency across the whole family is key to helping him settle in and learn the rules. In his foster home, Frodo is exposed to lots of new dogs and people, making him wonderfully socialized and comfortable with all sorts of canine friends. He tends to be submissive and learns well from older pups, always seeking new ways to play and interact. Frodo can’t wait to meet his forever family and start his next big adventure with you!
