Looking for a loyal shadow with four paws and a heart of gold? Meet Raphael, a gentle, affectionate pup who’s been winning hearts since day one in his foster home. In just 10 short days in foster, Raphael showed his foster family how loving, friendly, and deeply attached he can become — he's the kind of dog who melts into your side and never let's go. Raphael is incredibly sweet, clingy in the cutest way, and adjusted to foster home life almost immediately. He’s a real people-dog — always eager to say hello, soak up affection, and be part of the action (or just your next nap on the couch). He tolerated the two other dogs in the home. He sometimes gets overstimulated by cars or unfamiliar dogs on walks, but with positive reinforcement and consistency, he’ll gain more confidence outdoors. While he’s still learning leash manners (he pulls on walks), he rides like a champ in the car — ready for weekend adventures or coffee runs. What He Needs Raphael would flourish in a calm, affectionate home that gives him the attention he adores, a little structure, and patient guidance with training. He doesn’t know basic commands yet, but his eagerness to bond makes him a great candidate for learning.
