Buck is such a sweet young boy who is ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own. At just 1 year old, he already walks nicely on leash and loves spending time with people. Buck is very treat motivated, eager to please, and excited to learn, which will make training a fun and rewarding experience. He’s looking for a family who will help him grow into the best dog he can possibly be using positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of love and affection. With his loving personality and willingness to learn, Buck has all the potential to become an amazing lifelong companion. ~~~~~ The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov. In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626. Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon. We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
