About Rocky

Rocky is a loyal, loving presence. With his brindle coat and soulful eyes, he has won over everyone who’s met him—especially after shedding the extra weight that slowed him down in his last home. He’s on a regular feeding schedule now, moves around more comfortably, and is content to lounge at your feet or snuggle up whenever he gets the chance. Rocky loves bully sticks, belly rubs, and just being near his favorite people. He’s house trained and will ask to go outside, but long walks aren’t his thing due to arthritis. Short strolls are just enough for this mellow guy. He doesn’t do well with cats, so a feline-free home is a must. Rocky’s also wary of men wearing hats and glasses, for reasons only he knows. Otherwise, he gets along with dogs and children, and he appreciates anyone who matches his slower pace. His adoption fee is partially sponsored, now only $100. As an Aquarius (born February 3), Rocky brings a quirky, independent spirit to your home. Give him a few belly rubs and you’ll see why he’s become a volunteer favorite. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
