About Rosanna
Meet Rosanna, a brindle Mountain Cur Catahoula mix with a story that will stick with you. At around five years old, she's a spayed female with one crystal blue eye and one brown—her face is as striking as her personality is loyal. Rosanna survived a rough shelter situation, no fault of her own, and arrived in Le Mars, IA in March 2025. She's calm, affectionate, well-mannered, and clearly seeks a place to truly belong. Rosanna is fully house trained, knows her basic commands—sit, stay, and lay down—and lives for the attention of her humans. She responds to petting like it's the best thing about her day. Allergies mean she needs a special diet, but it's a small ask compared to what she gives in return. A volunteer was so taken with her that they're sponsoring $30 of her adoption fee. Rosanna would love a steady, gentle home, especially one with children, where she can finally exhale and put down roots. She has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccinations, and comes microchipped as part of her adoption package. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
