About Chester Von Coswig
Chester Von Coswig is a striking 18-month-old black and red German Shepherd with a solid, athletic build. He's sharp, eager to learn, and relishes showing off what he can do. Chester thrives with an active lifestyle, making him an ideal match for someone who values outdoor time or a family always on the go. He's still learning the ropes of basic obedience, already nailing down "sit" and "down," and he loves impressing people with a friendly paw. Chester is housebroken and very motivated by treats, but always takes them gently, making sure his good manners shine through. With an experienced handler, he walks well on leash, and is able to join pack walks with other large dogs; he doesn't do well with small dogs. In playgroups with other big dogs, he engages well—sometimes acting the goofy playmate, other times seeking human attention and affection during play breaks. Chester is loyal, attentive, and wants to bond with someone who will invest in his continued learning and adventures. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
