About Stella Blue
Spring means fresh starts, and Stella is ready for hers. This regal Mastiff/Pittie mix wears a striking brindle coat and offers lots of good habits at 3 years old and a solid 75 pounds. After losing her home when her previous owner moved, Stella is making the best of foster care in Suffolk County. She’s been brushing up on obedience and retrieval with a trainer and impresses everyone with her skills. People are surprised by how much she enjoys bath time and how happy she is to chase a ball—though she’s content with a couple of short retrieval sessions a day. Most of the time, you'll find her lounging quietly in the sun or laying beside you just enjoying some TV. She’s well-mannered, smart, housebroken, and calm by nature. While her friendly temperament makes her easy to live with, Stella’s size offers a sense of security. She’ll do best in a home with a fenced yard and either as a solo dog or with a mellow male companion. Because of her stature, homes with kids over 12 are better suited. Ready to give her the forever she deserves? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
