About Tessa

Meet Tessa, a young Shepherd Lab mix who’s around 6 months old. She’s had a rough start, making her a bit timid, but once she warms up, her fun and silly personality shines through. Tessa initially feels more comfortable around women and is a bit hesitant with men. She’s currently living in a foster home with multiple dogs, a cat, and a child, and is working on building her confidence. She is crate trained and mostly potty trained but can have accidents when she's overly excited. Tessa is still a puppy, eager to learn basic commands, but she’ll need a patient family who can help her through her trust issues. Due to these concerns, she would do best in a home without small children. If you believe you can provide the stable, loving environment Tessa needs, consider submitting an application!
