About Dexter
Dexter was born in June 2020 and spent his early months healing from a tough leg injury that left him on restricted activity as a pup. He's fully recovered now, with no lingering issues, and has turned into an energetic, high-spirited companion. Dexter is a bright, trainable dog who thrives with structure and loves staying involved in whatever his people are doing. You’ll find him happiest when he’s out for walks, adventures, or hiking trails — he is great on leash and keeps an eager eye on his handler. Dexter is quick to bond and seeks strong connections with his humans. He’s got spirit and smarts, making training sessions enjoyable for everyone involved. Dexter is a toy fanatic who loves games of fetch and tug, and won’t hesitate to entertain himself zooming around with his favorite prize. He needs a securely fenced yard for play and exploration, and benefits from long walks where he can sniff and roam. His downtime is laid-back: he’s content to relax with a Kong or bully stick, recharging for the next outing. Dexter does not get along with cats or other dogs and requires a home without kids. If you’re looking for a loyal, active buddy, Dexter is ready for his next big adventure. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
