Heather
AvailableHeather is a senior spayed female, considered a medium-sized cat of both domestic long hair and domestic short hair lineage. Gentle in spirit, she lives in River Ridge, LA, and seeks a peaceful place to finally call home.
About Heather
Heather has endured quite a bit. After losing her owner to pancreatic cancer, she and a dozen other cats found themselves suddenly without a home. Together, they got each other through the long, lonely days—Heather especially leaned on her feline friends as they waited for a new beginning. Even when her owner was gravely ill, care for Heather was never forgotten, and SpayMart stepped in to honor that trust. It has now been three years since that upheaval. Most of Heather's original companions have since been adopted, but she's still waiting for someone to notice her. Heather is not one to demand attention; she’s quiet, gentle, and values a feeling of safety over the spotlight. She can be shy when meeting new people, but her affectionate side comes out once she feels at ease. Heather thrives in the company of other cats and would be happiest in a low-key home without dogs or small children, where her peaceful nature can finally breathe easy. She has stayed healthy and shows no behavioral challenges. What she needs most now is a caring person willing to let trust build on its own schedule. Heather has earned her chance at a calm, loving forever home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
