✨ Meet Ezekiel, the charming little brown tabby and white shorthaired kitten who is ready to steal hearts! Born about five and a half months ago, Zeke's journey starts in a rather unusual way. His mom, a stray from Waukegan, was trapped just before giving birth, leading to a somewhat chaotic entrance into the world. 🌍 Ideally, he should’ve been surrounded by love and socialization right from the start, but life threw some challenges his way. The family that found his mom didn’t realize how crucial early human interaction was and waited until his first shots at 6 weeks. By then, they found a group of kittens that were acting a bit feral. 😿 So, we stepped in! At 3 and a half months old, Zeke and his littermates were moved into a more experienced foster home. And oh, what a delight he's turned out to be! With his infectious humor, Zeke’s quickly become known as the clown of the house. 🤡 A playful spirit who absolutely adores tasty treats, he also loves to engage in any type of playtime (watch out, doorstops!), and of course, belly rubs! The wonderful sound of his purring can be heard throughout the room as he rolls around in your lap, delivering gentle licks and the occasional nibble. Now, don’t be fooled by his playful exterior. Zeke does have a shy side that can catch you off guard. While he's warmed up significantly, he still has those nervous moments—especially when it comes to unexpected hands reaching for him.
