About Gingerbread
Gingerbread is about 2 and a half years old as of March 2025. Sheâs a spayed female, solid black cat with short, glossy fur. Taken in from a feral colony as a kitten, Gingerbread grew up friendly and trustingâshe even lived happily with two young kids before coming back to the rescue nearly two years later. Sheâs shown herself to be a loving companion, especially fond of belly rubs and curling up in high, comfy spots where she can watch the world go by. Gingerbread does get picked on by other cats, so sheâll do best as either an only cat or with another mellow feline roommate. She has her quirks: Gingerbread is a champion jumperâbasically nothing is off limits for explorationâso youâll want to cat-proof tables and counters. Sheâs a larger cat and stands while using the litter box, so sheâll need tall-walled boxes and a few options around the house; when litter boxes were tucked away or in short supply, it stressed her out. Gingerbread is vaccinated and fully house trained. Sheâs ready for a stable home where she can settle in and finally relax. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
