About Gingerbread
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Gingerbread is around 2 and a half years old as of March 2025. She is a beautiful black shorthaired cat who is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. This sweet and friendly girl was rescued as a kitten from a feral colony and enjoyed life with a family, including two young children, before being returned to the rescue after almost two years. Gingerbread's history with children suggests she would make a wonderful addition to most families. Since coming back to the rescue, Gingerbread has encountered some bullying from other cats, so she would be happiest as an only cat or possibly with a calm feline companion. She loves belly rubs, climbing to high cozy spots, and will enthusiastically jump on anythingโso a cat-proofed home is recommended! Gingerbread is a larger cat and prefers tall-sided litter boxes, as she tends to stand while using them, and she does best when given multiple litter box options rather than only one in a hard-to-reach closet. Her affectionate, playful personality will bring joy and companionship to her next family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
