Gingerbread about 2 and a half years old as of March, 2025) is a spayed female black shorthaired cat. She is a sweet and friendly girl that was rescued from a feral colony as a kitten and adopted out previously and then unfortunately returned to us almost 2 years later. She was happilly living with two young children, and so we believe she would be a great addition to any family. Since being returned, she does get bullied a bit by other cats, so we think she would be happiest as an only cat or with another calm cat. Gingerbread loves belly rubs and high, comfortable places to relax. She jumps on everything, so be prepared to cat proof all surfaces! She will need tall walled litter boxes, as she tends to stand while peeing and is a larger cat, and she likes to have multiple litter box options to choose from as she had issues in her former home when they only gave her one tucked away in a closet and it was sometimes too stressful for her to reach it.
