About Evie
Evie has been waiting nearly three years for her fairy tale ending. She’s a four-year-old tabby with white markings—a true nap queen who craves a calm home and daily routines. Evie was found out on her own in Providence, but has always found confidence when there’s another cat nearby. She must have a gentle feline friend in her new home; this will help her feel safe and give her the courage to settle in. She loves spending time with friendly cats, chasing a laser pointer, and snack time. Evie is shy at first and dislikes being picked up, but she’s gentle—her version of affection is a soft bop rather than any claws. Despite her timidity, she warms up to patient people. She does best in a quiet setting, so homes with no young children and no dogs (or calm, respectful ones only) are the right fit. Evie’s never aggressive, doesn’t roughhouse, and will never be the one to start trouble. Once she trusts you, she becomes a loyal, low-maintenance companion who just wants a comfy spot, a cat buddy to cuddle, and an understanding human who lets her move at her own pace.
