Chucky’s ideal day consists of snuggling up beside you—preferably in your lap, because he still sees himself as that small pup! This laid-back guy perfectly embodies relaxation. Whether he’s enjoying a stroll, joyfully tossing his favorite toys, or sprawling out on the couch, Chucky is always ready for some quality time. His loyalty is unmatched, and he’s dreaming of a forever home filled with love and stability. Chucky has great manners; he’s an expert at “sit” and “stay,” and is working on staying calm for those pesky rabbits and squirrels. While he’s crate trained, he prefers a cozy nook with a baby gate and is making progress in his routine. Chucky loves making friends, especially with smaller dogs. He’s lived harmoniously with four other dogs, particularly enjoying the company of petite females. However, he can be a little selective about bigger boys. He was quite the hit at the shelter’s playgroup, showcasing his calm demeanor. Just a heads-up, he’s a bit of a mama’s boy and might get jealous if attention shifts away from him.
