Built Like a Bouncer, Loves Like Somebody’s Grandma Rayna looks like she should be guarding a motorcycle shop in a small desert town, but in reality she’s mostly just a deeply devoted little meatball who wants to know where her people are at all times. At around 5 years old, Rayna has already figured out something a lot of dogs never do: life is better when you stop pretending you like everybody. Other dogs? Not her thing. Cats? Absolutely not. Tiny woodland creatures? She believes those are government-issued distractions. But people? Oh, she is ALL in on people. This girl loves humans with her whole chest. New people, familiar people, kids, adults—she rolls into introductions like the mayor of a town with a population of one hundred percent “folks I would like to kiss directly on the face.” She’s affectionate, incredibly smart, eager to please, and tuned in to her people in a way that makes you feel less like you own a dog and more like you accidentally hired a very loving personal assistant. And the intelligence on this dog? Dangerous. Rayna is the kind of smart where you look at her and immediately know she could absolutely figure out how taxes work if given enough time. She learns quickly, listens well, and responds beautifully to guidance. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and genuinely enjoys being part of a routine. Now, full transparency: this girl does need a secure setup because apparently somewhere deep in her ancestry there was either a gymnast or a prison escape consultant. Rayna can climb fences, and if something interesting catches her attention, she’s athletic enough to investigate it. She’s not trying to run away from her people—she just occasionally follows her curiosity with the confidence of a woman who believes rules are more like gentle suggestions. Her perfect home is one where she gets to be the star player. No other pets competing for attention, no chaos, just a human-focused life where she can settle in, love hard, patrol the yard for suspicious activity, and spend her evenings pressed against you on the couch like a weighted blanket with opinions. Rayna feels like late-night snack runs, quiet mornings, backyard sunshine, and a dog who looks at you like the two of you survived something together in a past life. She is funny, loyal, deeply affectionate, and absolutely the type of dog that becomes somebody’s entire world.
