Beaux
AvailableBeaux is a large, short-coated American Staffordshire Terrier mix living in Scroggins, TX. He is an adult, unaltered male with special needs, who is house trained and current on his vaccinations. Beaux does not get along with other cats or dogs and needs a stable, single-pet home where he can feel secure and loved.
About Beaux
Beaux didn’t start in a cozy house—he waited by a boat ramp, loyal to the spot where he’d been left behind. For weeks, he made do with whatever kindness came his way, never letting go of his yellow squeaky toy. That was Beaux’s world: the brush for a bed, strangers for comfort, and a stubborn hope that someone would come for him. Through all this, Beaux kept his gentle nature and resilience. Now safe with the Wood County Sheriff’s Office Animal Adoption Program, he’s showing just how much he wants to belong. Beaux is a people-dog—he leans into every bit of attention, always searching for connection and offering an easy confidence that’s hard to miss. He’ll need some structure as he learns home life. Leash walks and setting routines are still new to him, but he’s willing to learn if someone will teach him. Beaux needs a place where he can settle for good—a family ready to be patient, offer stability, and let him keep growing into the loyal, loving companion he’s always tried to be. He’s not a fit for homes with other cats or dogs, but he’s more than enough on his own. For adoption, please contact the Wood County Sheriff’s Office Animal Adoption Program at 903-850-5238. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
