About Rocky

Rocky is a young, medium-sized mixed-breed dogโ€”DNA says he's part Australian Cattle Dog, Pit Bull Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, Golden Retriever, and Miniature American Shepherd. He's between 7โ€“12 months old, neutered, and full of curiosity. Rocky is great with other dogs and loves to wrestle and play. He can be a little interested in chasing cats, but usually backs off if the cat stands its ground. Rocky loves meeting new people, is outgoing, and especially adores children who want to run and play. Heโ€™s kennel trained and making steady progress with house training. Rocky continues to work hard on his leash and basic manners, but he already excels at snuggling and sticking close to his people. His energy level sits in the low to medium rangeโ€”he enjoys daily walks and is happy to join in family activities. Rescued with his siblings from a South Dakota Reservation, Rocky has been fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Heโ€™s ready for a home that can appreciate his personality over breed labels. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
