About Alex
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet the charming Alex! Born into a bustling neighborhood filled with feline friends, he's the kind of cat who knows what it means to be part of a community. In the spring of 2020, a compassionate neighbor kick-started a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project, and that's where Alex's adventure began. He bravely stepped forward to find a cozy indoor haven to call his own. Now, Alex is searching for the perfect family to help him flourish. While he’s grown tremendously, Alex is still shy and a bit nervous around new people—which only adds to his irresistible charm. He’s a gentle soul, hoping for a patient and loving home that can help him truly blossom. With a little time and kindness, Alex is sure to reward you with his quiet companionship and, if you’re lucky, a gentle purr. He’s looking for an indoor-only home where he will always feel safe and secure. Because Alex’s well-being is top priority, adopters must be within about 45 minutes of Cedar Rapids, IA, as a home visit is required—no out-of-state adoptions, please. Alex’s Iowa roots run deep! Ready to welcome Alex into your life? Schedule an appointment at the Cedar Rapids adoption center to meet this sweet kitty and take the first step toward growing your family.
