Pops
AvailableThis husky is a senior male with a large build and currently resides at RISE Rescue Alliance. He is house trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. Pops would do best as an only dog (or possibly with an easygoing female) and is not compatible with cats or small animals. His active personality makes him the perfect match for someone who loves outdoor adventures and has a secure yard.
About Pops
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Pops, the absolute sweetest husky you'll ever encounter! At 10 years young, Pops is brimming with energy and ready for countless adventures. He adores exploring nature on long walks and is more than capable of keeping up with active companions. While Pops previously lived peacefully with other dogs, recently he has become selective in his canine friendships. Currently, it's best for him to be the only dog in the home or possibly paired with a laid-back female—though this may change as his temperament continues to be evaluated. One thing is certain, however: Pops should not live with cats or small animals. His keen hunting instincts will help you maintain a rodent-free home, but because of this, a home with only people (and possibly another gentle dog) is ideal. Housebroken and eager to greet everyone he meets, Pops is searching for a retirement home where he can be showered with snuggles and continue his nature walks. Like many huskies, Pops needs a securely fenced yard and should never be left outside unsupervised for extended periods, as his agility and squirrel-chasing tendencies could lead him over a fence. He thrives with a person who is often home, enjoying plenty of companionship. You won't be disappointed. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
