Nero
AvailableNero is a baby male Belgian Shepherd / Malinois and German Shepherd Dog mix whose current home is in Yreka, CA. He has been raised around children, other dogs, and sometimes cats, and has already started on all age-appropriate vaccinations and regular vet care. Nero is expected to be a medium-size adult and comes with a commitment to be neutered when he’s the right age.
About Nero
Nero is part of Rescue Ranch’s puppy foster program, so he’s had plenty of exposure to adults, kids, and usually other dogs, sometimes even cats. If he’s over 16 weeks, he’s participated in the 'Reading to Rescue Pups' program and been out in the community at events. Once old enough, he’ll get a wellness check by a licensed vet, plus he’s been dewormed and kept up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, including those for parvo/distemper and Bordetella. At 4 months or older, Nero will also have had his rabies shot. All puppies, including Nero, are microchipped and registered with 911PetChip for safety. Spay/neuter surgery is required at 6–8 months (or slightly later for giant breeds), and the adoption fee covers the cost if you use the rescue’s vet. If you choose your own veterinarian, the rescue offers a partial reimbursement after proof. Every dog at Rescue Ranch gets thorough veterinary care, including being spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and fully vaccinated before adoption. Nero gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making him a versatile fit for many homes. Ready to make a puppy part of your family? Click apply to start the adoption process.
