About Kimchi

Kimchi is one of four delightful small mixed-breed puppies rescued from a crowded shelter in rural Kentucky and now thriving in a Chicago foster home. At about four months old, Kimchi is expected to reach a petite adult size, likely staying between 20 and 30 pounds. With a potential blend of Chihuahua, various terrier breeds such as Jack Russell or Rat Terrier, and possibly Pomeranian or Pekingese, Kimchi brings all the charm, curiosity, and cleverness you'd expect from such a unique mix. She has a medium coat that's mostly red, chestnut, and black, and she's outgoing, affectionate, and bursting with playful energy. Kimchi gets along with dogs, cats, and children, making her a fit for many types of families. As with any young puppy, she's not yet house trained and will need someone committed to regular potty breaks and lots of engagement throughout the day. Her spay surgery and initial vaccinations are already complete. Kimchi will do best in a home where someone has the time and patience to help an energetic young dog grow into a wonderful companion.
