About Cashew
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Cashew! Cashew is a charming Wirehaired Terrier mix, estimated to have been born in 2021 and weighing around 12 lbs. After lovingly raising her puppies in foster care, she is now looking for a forever home where she can shine as someone's loyal companion. Cashew thrives on affection and loves spending time relaxing with her people, and she's happiest when exploring a secure yard. While she enjoys playtime and is happy to share space with other dogs after proper introductions, she should not be placed in a home with cats, as she is just a bit too interested in them. To ensure Cashew’s safety and happiness, a securely fenced yard and a sturdy, safe crate (not a wire or soft crate) are both required. Adoptions will be considered for families in Western Washington and, at the caseworker’s discretion, Northern Oregon; no other out-of-state adoptions can be processed at this time. While some condos with a private, fenced yard may be considered, apartments are not suitable. Homes with children are not recommended unless otherwise noted and approved by the rescue caseworker. Cashew is spayed, vaccinated, and being cared for in foster in Poulsbo, WA, where you will have the chance to meet her in person. If you’re ready to open your heart and home, Cashew is eager for a fresh start filled with love and adventure. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
