About Mango
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Mango! This sweet, goofy boy is a Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix born around September 2023 and currently in foster care in Poulsbo, WA. Mango is a quick learner who adores walks, playing fetch, and cuddling on the couch. Though initially shy with other dogs, he is gentle with his foster sibling and would do well either as an only dog or with a similarly sized friend to play with. He is house trained and even rings a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. Mango will flourish in a home looking for a best friend who will continue his training, and his foster reports he is an exceptional companion. Mango requires a securely fenced yard and a quality crate; wire or soft crates are not acceptable for his safety. Most adoptions are considered in Western Washington or, in some cases, Northern Oregon. Apartment living isn’t suitable for Mango, but some condos or homes with a private fenced yard may be considered. No young children; homes must have children who are at least 5-6 years old and behavior-appropriate with animals. All R.E.D. animals, including Mango, are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and usually microchipped. Meet-and-greets are held in Poulsbo, WA; remote adoption is only possible if you can meet Mango in person before making it official. Mango’s adoption helps R.E.D.’s mission to give every animal a safe path to a new forever home. If you have a loving home and meet these needs, Mango might be your new best friend! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
