About Rex
Rex is a small, soft, silver shaggy mix of shih tzu, miniature poodle, yorkie, pug, and maltese. Those expressive eyes say a lot—he’s been through several homes, which has left him a little anxious, but he’s eager to bond with the right person. Rex is clever and quick to learn; he already knows an impressive list of commands, is potty trained, and responds best to positive, food-based motivation. He adores going for walks, hikes, rides in the car, and plays a solid game of fetch or chase. Swimming is a favorite. He thrives around other playful dogs and is happiest when he has company—he doesn’t enjoy being left alone, especially without a dog friend. Rex isn’t a good fit for homes with small children and may react on leash during walks. For someone active who wants a partner for adventure and has the patience to help him settle in, Rex will bring loyalty and affection in spades. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Rex is in Los Alamitos, CA. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
