About Milo
Milo has packed a lot into just a year and a half. Life hasnāt been easyāheās faced homelessness, gone hungry, and bounced through two shelters and more than a couple temporary homes. Itās never been his fault. People havenāt taken the time to understand him, and thatās a real loss, because Milo could be a superstar with the right people. Heās honestly a genius; you can see the wheels turning behind those eyes. If Milo had thumbs, heād give people a run for their money at Mensa. On top of his brains, heās a total sweetheartāa big softie who loves snuggling and is happiest right by your side. The comedy in this dog is wild, too; give him a minute and heāll have everybody laughing. Miloās naturally athletic, too. He would thrive with someone who wants a hiking, running, and all-around-adventure sidekick. Car rides? Heās your co-pilot. He wonāt mind if you drive coast to coast. Where Milo struggles is confinement. Kennel environments stress him out and make him vocal from fear. He needs freedom to move, think, and burn energy, ideally with a home that really understands smart, working-breed behavior. An active home with a secure yard and a dog door would suit him perfectly. He adores people, but because heās such a big, boisterous presence, heās better matched to homes without little kids. Milo is looking for folks who want to bring a sweet, clever, and hilarious dog into every corner of their livesāespecially the wild corners. This boy is ready for his forever.
