About Sullivan

Sullivan is a laid-back, sweet-natured young boy with a knack for making himself at home wherever he lands. While in foster, he showed a love for long walks, soaking in the sights, sniffing along the way, and truly enjoying car rides. Though Sullivan isn’t all that interested in toys, he gets a kick out of working for treats—searching for hidden snacks is right up his alley. String cheese, shredded cheese, any cheese; he’ll take it all. He’s got an irresistible habit of conking out on his back, paws in the air, always ready for a belly rub, and he’s happiest sleeping right next to you—even if it means you’re relegated to the edge of the bed. He's polite with other dogs and older kids, and charms everyone he meets with his gentle, sensitive nature. It may take a minute for him to warm up, but once he does, he’s glued to your side and content to lean into you for attention. Housebroken, leash trained, and quick to learn any new routine, Sullivan thrives in a calm, loving home where he’s surrounded by people. He’ll need some patience building confidence with his crate and being alone but picks up fast with a gentle hand. Sullivan is friendly with both resident and visiting dogs, gets along with older children, and would love a family who will let him settle in at his own pace. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
