Kojak
AvailableKojak is a small mixed-breed Jack Russell Terrier with a short white, cream, and black coat. He is a senior neutered male and fully vaccinated. Kojak is house trained and settled in High Ridge, MO. He has a special need—daily eye drops—but handles it well, and, after a tough start, is now sporting a healthier appearance and spirit.
About Kojak
Kojak is about 10 years old and weighs 12 lbs. He arrived in rescue in rough shape: hair loss from a severe flea infestation, dry eyes, and badly in need of a dental. After some much-needed care, Kojak is now neutered, has fresh teeth, and sports a healthy new coat—he’s looking sharp and feels much better. His special need is lifelong: Kojak requires eye drops twice a day, but he’s easygoing about the routine. He enjoys spending time with his buddy Columbo, though both would adapt to separate homes as well. Kojak loves company and is happiest just hanging out. He’s up to date on vaccinations, microchipped (with registration covered), and house trained. Kojak’s adoption fee helps cover his medical expenses—he’s had quite a revival since arrival and deserves a soft landing. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Kojak
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Kojak is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, a breed typically comfortable in homes where they receive plenty of attention and stimulation. An environment with regular companionship suits Kojak best, especially considering his special needs and senior status.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Jack Russell Terrier mixes like Kojak enjoy access to a secure yard or areas for short walks. While he may not need as much vigorous play as a younger dog, brief outings and a safe environment are ideal.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Jack Russell Terriers can do well around children if the kids are gentle and understand dog boundaries. Kojak is a senior and might prefer a quieter household, so families with older or calmer children may be best.
