About Columbo
Columbo is a small Jack Russell Terrier mix, estimated to be between 8 and 10 years old, weighing in at 14 lbs. He arrived at the rescue in tough shape—dealing with hair loss from a heavy flea infestation and in serious need of dental care. At some point, Columbo broke his left rear leg, which healed on its own, leaving it slightly bowed, but it doesn’t seem to cause him any pain or slow him down. After being neutered, getting fully vetted—including a major dental—and growing back his coat, Columbo is now looking and feeling much better. He’s been described as quite the handsome, happy little guy. Columbo enjoys spending time with his friend Kojak, who came into the rescue with him. They’re a good team, but both would also do well finding their own homes. Columbo is vaccinated, microchipped (registration included), and house trained. While he typically gets along with other dogs, he isn't suited for homes with children. Columbo's adoption fee helps offset the high cost of his care, including all of his vet work and preventative meds. He’s now ready for a calm, loving environment where he can enjoy his senior years in comfort. Your new best friend is just one click away.
