About Joe
Meet Joe, a friendly three-year-old Pit mix who weighs around 35 pounds. Joe’s journey hasn’t been easy, having been owner surrendered after the devastating White Swan fire. He arrived at the shelter underweight, with scabs across his body and some scarring from a previous collar, along with a back leg that shows signs of an old injury. Yet, despite his past, Joe carries an incredible spirit. He’s a sweet dog who thrives on companionship and eagerly responds to kindness. With his medium build and charming personality, Joe enjoys treats and already knows how to sit. He seems to have spent much of his life taking a backseat to other dogs, and it's now his time to shine. Joe deserves a family that will not only help him regain his health but also show him the love and stability he has been missing. If you’re looking for a dog who will appreciate every warm bed, meal, and act of love, Joe is ready to leave his difficult past behind and embrace a brighter future. He’s looking for a second chance at happiness and would make a loyal companion. Joe will be available for adoption on 7.28.26 at the Yakima Humane Society. Ready to make a difference in his life?
