About Buddy

Meet Buddy, an inspiring rescue dog with a story that will tug at your heartstrings. Once facing a euthanasia deadline at Pima Animal Care Center, he battled severe Valley Fever and has made an incredible recovery with the help of dedicated caregivers. Now, at around 3 years old, this affectionate pit mix thrives in his loving foster home. Buddy enjoys his daily walks and adores spending time with his furry friends. He is neutered and has nearly triumphed over Valley Fever, although he will need some ongoing care including medication for pain management and his bone lesion. While Buddy is great with other dogs, he does not get along with cats, so a canine playmate would be ideal. His loving and sensitive nature makes him a loyal companion. If you’re searching for a sweet soul with a heart full of gratitude, Buddy could be perfect for you. Located in Tucson, AZ, he's ready to begin his new life with a forever family.
