About Eddie
Start your journey together! Apply now. Eddie is a 14-year-old Pomeranian and Labrador Retriever mix weighing around 22 pounds, who still enjoys life to the fullest. This charming senior is a professional napper but also loves leisurely trots through his foster mom's fenced yard. Eddie is quite the quiet companion and generally only voices his opinion when a visitor or another dog invades his personal space, so he would do best as the only dog in his home. While he might take a little time to warm up, once comfortable, Eddie seeks out gentle attention and leans in for belly rubs and affection. He’s exceptionally food-motivated, always ready for a treat after going potty outside. Although Eddie is leash trained and doesn’t pull, a fenced yard is preferred for his walks since he doesn’t always appreciate the company of other dogs. Eddie is vision-impaired but navigates his surroundings well and has an impressive talent for hearing crinkly food wrappers! If you offer a peaceful, relaxed home, he’ll be your perfect companion. Eddie’s coat is more lab than pomeranian and just needs regular brushing, with no intricate grooming required. His recent dental means he’s got just six teeth left, but he eats small kibble without a fuss. Above all, Eddie is simply looking for a soft, cozy place to call his home for his golden years. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
